Over 5 years ago Bob Jones “The Chief”
was given information and footage of Mikhail Rybko and his martial arts system “Systema” developed
from a long tradition of Russian warrior
arts.
What the Chief saw captivated him.
He saw it as a great extension to his EPC training.
Systema could be explained as a blend of Aikido and Close Quarter Combat. Many of the main instructors of Systema are either current or ex Spetsnaz (Russian equivalent of the SAS).
The Chief wanted to experience this
amazing martial art first hand and learn
some of the secrets of it’s body control and
devastating techniques done from such a
relaxed position.
After 4 years planing we are off to train with Alex Kostic one of Systema’s top international instructors in the mountains of Serbia joining his annual camp.
